Thanksgiving Season is Here!

Hello! With Halloween now behind us, we only have a short time until the next big holiday is upon us: Thanksgiving! Want to know exactly how soon it will be here? Are you ready for it?? Since Thanksgiving is on Thursday, November 22nd this year we have exactly 20 DAYS until Thanksgiving. That’s right: 3 WEEKS!

Now, it may seem like a long time when you are thinking about it, but when you think about all the things that have to be done before Thanksgiving than it can be a bit daunting. For instance, you have to invite guests, get RSVP’s back, plan the location, clean the house, get the guest room ready if people are staying over, PLAN THE MENU!, make the grocery list, get the dish ware ready (serving platters, utensils, cooking pans…), create the tablescape plan and find all dishes such as plates, glasses, and silverware, set the table, buy the frozen turkey or order the fresh turkey (if you are freaking out about which one to buy, don’t worry, I will have a blog later about the differences between fresh and frozen turkeys and you will have plenty of time to buy or order it), go shopping for all the ingredients you need, and not to mention the big day itself!
